GENERAL INFORMATION

 

A notary public’s main duty is to confirm the legal validity of documents and facts for use outside England and Wales. These can relate to a wide range of activities including overseas property transactions, administration of the affairs of people who have died, commercial transactions in other countries, court proceedings and immigration.

 

I am available between 9am and 6pm Mondays to Fridays and on Saturday mornings by prior arrangement.  I do work outside these hours but an additional fee may be payable. In order that you do not make a visit to my office when I am not available please telephone (01823 401118) for an appointment before coming.

 

I usually see people at Old Bartletts, Fore Street, Milverton, Taunton TA4 1JX. I will see people anywhere in England and Wales when this is necessary but any expenses arising will need to be covered. Some people are unable to come to my office because of disability or for business or other reasons and I am willing to make arrangements to see them in their own homes, offices or other convenient places.
